Simple historical windows

Simple historical windows

These are wooden windows suitable for historic buildings, which retain similar properties and user comfort as EURO windows, but are much cheaper than double-glazed windows. However, their use in conservation areas and on listed buildings should always be consulted with the responsible conservation authority.

Windows can be fitted with decorative features such as decorative clapper (the moulding covering the gap between the sashes in a double-hung window) and headers. They are also typically characterised by the use of timber eaves mouldings and a tapered profile more in keeping with the more subtle profiles used previously.
